Yes!! And it's verry good! Try the "poutine" it's amazing.
No sorry, it’s a 200 years old building, all the access are not large enough for an electric wheel chair. Best regard
Delicious food and great service. Menu is small but if you want a delicious club sandwich with Poutine be sure to stop here.
Loved the food here. A definite place to eat while in Old Town Quebec. Everyone in our party really enjoyed their meal.
Incredible service and presentation. The food was Devine and well worth visiting Quebec City for. I’m very happy I came here and I will surely be back. Thank you Phil for the epic service and hospitality. I write this as I sit at the bar you referred me to, happy as can be. Merci.
Nice bar, a great place to meet friends and party it up especially in the current situation with virus etc.
We were told about this place and decided to try it out for ourselves! We walked in and was immediately greeted by Philip, who showed us to our table. He was extremely knowledgeable and personable. We ordered the French onion soup and smoked meat club and they were delicious and just what we were looking for! The absolute finishing touch was his grandmother’s fudge at the end and later found out he was the owner. Would definitely recommend and will return on our next trip to Quebec City!
All the food I had there were 100% delicious the Mac&Cheese and the Poor Man's Pudding is the highlights of my evening.
This place was one of 5 Restaurants we stopped in during our Old Quebec City Food Tour we too last June during our 3 month trek across wonderful Eastern Canada. Our tour guide claimed they had the best mac & cheese in town and we all agreed. It was simply awesome! So give yourself a treat when in the area and try them for yourself. Awesome
Awesome restaurant and dining experience! My wife and I were visiting from the States and found this place on a whim. Place was greatly decorated and nice drink selection. Service was awesome, great food knowledge and recommendations. Would highly recommend!
Cute restaurant with great lunch special for $16.5 with entree, appetizer, coffee and a small chocolate for dessert. The celery root soup was sweet and delicious. The coffee was very strong and unexpectedly good. The mac and cheese was unique- it has a big chunk of cheese laying ontop. The mac and cheese would be excellent if it was less salty.
Yesterday My daughter and i shared the meat poutine! The fries were spot on, The gravy was light and tasty, the cheese was addictive and the smoked meat was tender and cooked to perfection! Sam was great and knowledgeable about everything .. .. learning the history of the building was fascinating. If i didn't have to catch a flight home i would've gone again today... a must visit if you're in town.
A very cozy place with fantastic food. I visited this place through one of the local tours and had to returned the same evening for some more. Their Mac and cheese is simply delicious! Their smoked chicken sandwich is absolutely fantastic! The ambiance was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. I will be returning again!
The meals were artistically prepared, very delicious but small portions. My friend had the Petoncles (scallops) while I had the Cerf special (venison). I was surprised the venison cubes were practically raw, just seared on the outside edges. Although I enjoyed it, I think it would help to explain the specials better to English-speaking customers. The 1st floor dining area is small with poor acoustics, causing sound to carry and reverberate to the point where conversation was difficult. Definitely not a good place for diners with hearing problems.
This place had a great atmosphere for lunch. I found the food the be good and the service to be amazing. Our waiter/server was very nice and made sure we felt accommodated with our meals. The club sandwich was amazing!
Unbelievably delicous. Perfect Meal. Went on food tour and one of the stops was here. We sampled their mac and cheese with cubed bacon and black garlic.Amazing.Went back that night for full meal. You gotta try their homemade smoked bacon. We had the bacon on our poutine also. Treat yourself. Also the chicken club sandwich with curry sauce was the best. Better then smoked meat which was great also. All meats smoked on site, homemade bread sauces etc... If i was staying another day id go back tommorow.
Our waiter was friendly and very accommodating, and was nice enough to provide recommendations of his "favorite restaurants". Be sure to order a new take on Shepard's Pie or enjoy the a dish featuring Guinea Fowl. Incredible food with amazing wine pairings at a very affordable price. A must visit during your next visit to QC!
Came here because of reading previous reviews. This is a small restaurant in an old exposed brick and rock building. The staff was amazing but the food surpassed it all. My friend had the Mac and cheese with bacon maple syrup on top. I tasted it and it was unbelievably good. I would like to go back just so I could order it. I had the scallop special and it was the best. Done to perfection. Really have no idea what it all cost cause we haven’t converted anything into dollars but I think that it was reasonable for what we had. Highly recommend going there.
Best cocktail I’ve ever had! Gin & .....something magical!! Service is fantastic, too. Steak was delicious & perfectly done. Sides were small, but not an afterthought—they were delicious, too. My spouse had one of the specials—a house-made sausage. He enjoyed it & the local beer as well. Great meal for our last night in Quebec!
Balanced and sophisticated flavors served by an owner who is clearly passionate about cooking everything in-house. This quaint restaurant, which is situated on a quiet side street off of the main Rue St. Jean, stole our hearts (and our stomachs!).
Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants that I visited while in Quebec City. There are many many great choices but this place just had that special locals vibe and most importantly the owner was super involved in the operation and very face to face with each customer. The food was incredible along with an excellent selection of drinks. Don't visit Quebec City with out stopping in to see Phil and his staff!!!!
We had lunch at Beclub Bistro today. The food and service were outstanding and very reasonably priced. This place is a refreshing alternative to the overpriced touristy joints along Rue Saint-Jean, although it's only a few steps away. Highly recommended!
